Pours a muddy, ruddy brown.
Plenty of funk with ripened plum and other dark fruits alongside hints of sugar and yeast.
Taste is quite involving with dried plum skin, overripe plum juices and a drop of vinegar for a snappy tartness that never goes full on funky but stays flavorful and interesting all the way through. In other words, it's balanced.
Light to medium in body and super dry as it should be.
The right amount in the right places makes for a sour I can get to.
