Dark brown pour with no lacing and no carbonation. Spicy roasted malt with some booziness on the nose. Roasted cocoa with spicy booziness and coconut. Thick and silky soft with warming on the way down.

Best served in a snifter. Very flavorful but boozy.

Pours as a syrupy black goop that is a bit still, not a lot of head or carbonation on it. The smell of the beer is loaded with boozy notes on the nose along with maybe just a touch of coconut. The taste is rich, quite sweet, the coconut is there but it's almost taken away by the boozy heat on this. The feel is slick and oily, no surprise there based on how it poured, the heat is there I can't help but wonder if or how much this beer would mellow out had it been aged for a few years. Overall it's a big boozy stout and if that is something you enjoy then I recommend it fully!

Silky and black; standing alone in its welcoming darkness.

Prominent coconut to the nose followed by subtle dark fruits such as black grape and raisin.

Full in body with notes of vanilla and mincemeat meeting more dark fruits (raspberry, black grape) and herb with waves of coconut sweetness through to the end. Gets a bit syrupy as ut warms.

Full bodied of course but never too hot. Sweet but never cloying.

A consistent and balanced endeavor from start to finish. And that is saying quite a bit for a beer of this magnitude.
