This is a really nice looking brew with a big, sticky off-white froth and a deep red, almost burgundy body. Up front in the aroma are piney/earthy hops that are followed by medium fruits and notes of caramel. Plenty malty on the tongue with a dose of oily hops thrown in for good measure. Not as sweet as expected, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. medium in body and not much alcohol heat to speak of. SC gets it right yet again with this one.
