Entering this with trepidation, but it actually kind of works. The smell isn't all that interesting, pretty much just raspberry pancake topping. My first sip left only the same dim impression. As this warmed though, it really opened up. The raspberry syrup is most prominent, but subtle layers of cinnamon, vanilla, and bourbon round this out nicely. As adjunk laden as this is, it's hard to find the base stout. Maybe just hints of smooth, chocolatey malts. The body is sticky and syrupy.
Not something I'd want often, this was quite satisfying in it's way.
