Pours an effervescent mahogany with a sliver of caramel colored head, falls away quickly. No head retention or lacing
S: Plenty of barrel, dark fruit, dark chocolate once warm
T: Dark chocolate, some boozey notes, sweet coconut & vanilla up front, some leafy hops. Dark chocolate, some barrel boozeyness, coconut, figs & a little vanilla as this beer warms up. Finishes boozey with dark chocolate & coconut
MF: Fairly chewy, low carbonation, warming nice body
Very solid for the style & what they were going for. Very drinkable considering the heft
