Pours an effervescent hazel/chestnut color with a finger of sand colored head. Pretty good head retention
S: Figs, brown sugar
T: Follows the nose. leafy hops, peatyness & toffee up front. Smokiness emerges as this beer warms up, plus leafy & woody hops, a kiss of toffee as well. Finishes with leafy & woody hops, peattyness & touch of brown sugar, plus booze kiss
MF: Medium body, fairly firm carbonation
Always good to see another Wee Heavy, This is a solid stab at the style
