Had First Contact poured from 12-oz. bottle, gift from friend, into nonic pint.
Looks like a gose. My first ginger beer, the lemon is slightly there in the aroma, but more prominent in the flavor, and grows as warms for a more than alcoholic ginger ale experience.

This ginger beer had the look and feel of what you’d expect from the style. Seltzery carb, with the fresh lemon juice adding a hazy yellow hue to the beer. While the citrusy addition balances the sharp finger notes with a nice acidity level, a slight bitter alcohol finish leaves me just a little disappointed. Expect a lot of similarities to a Tom Collins cocktail.
