On draught at Frontier Brewing and Taproom.
Pours a hazy reddish brown, or is it brownish red? Either way, the overall look is fine, due in part to the nice long lasting head of foam and impressive lacing.
Smells malty, earthy, some spicy notes, no perceivable sweetness.
Taste is malty and earthy some spicy hop character, tiny bit of sweetness, spicy almost has a rye flavor to it.
Medium for the body and carbonation.
Excellent, imho, though I have not had that much experience with the style.
