From a 330ml bottle.
L: Very dark brown, almost black, with red edging. Head comprises a thick, beige ring.
S: Toasted malt with a sharp, smoky, burnt coffee edge.
T: Woody, treacly molasses. Not syrupy but definitely sweet. Cut through by sharp hops.
F: Thin body with moderate carbonation. Quite dry. A little gassy.
O: An enjoyable, modern stout. Got better as it warmed. Body was a little disappointing.
