Another Algerian beer. They aren't too bad. T/T pours a relatively dark colour. Brownish black, with some ruby red when the light hits it right. Decent, 1 1/2 finger white head that left no lace. Sweet malt smell. Chocolate malts, barley malts, coffee, brown sugar and syrup. Good, mellow sweet taste. The coffee adds enough balance to the overall sweetness of the brew. The sugar and malts are dominant, but not overpowering. Aftertaste leaves a small hop presence on the throat and tongue. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel. I tried it slightly warmer, and the smell wasn't as well balanced. This is a beer meant to be served cool. Good drinkability. Hides its alcohol content well. I have 2 more left, the other three are being drunk by Offri, Natalie and Macky. They all like it. I like it too.
