On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown with a good head and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and hint of hazelnut. Taste of roasted malt, coffee with light touch of hazelnut. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Fairly full body, smooth and creamy. Tasty.

Pours a black color. 1/5 inch head of an off-tan color. Decent retention and decent lacing. Smells of roasted malt, slight piney hops, slight sweet malt, hint of wood, and slight lactose. Fits the style of a Milk/Sweet Stout. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. There is also a roasted malt bitterness. Tastes of strong sweet malt, roasted malt, slight piney hops, slight lactose, hint of nut, and slight wood. Overall, average appearance, good aroma, body, and feel.
