Pours a black color. 1/4 inch head of an off-tan color. Slight retention and good lacing. Smells of strong roasted malt, sweet malt, and a hint of alcohol. Fits the style of an Irish Dry Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is an elevated dryness. Tastes of strong roasted malt, sweet malt, a hint of alcohol, hint of wood, lactose, and a hint of oatmeal. Overall, weak appearance and simple aroma, but good body and blend.
