Pours a clear brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-tan color. Slight retention and decent lacing. Smells of roasted malt, sweet malt, nut, slight caramel malt, and slight earthiness. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Fits the style of an Irish Red Ale. Tastes of roasted malt, sweet malt, nut, slight caramel malt, hint of herbal notes, hint of spruce, and slight earthiness. Overall, weak appearance, but good aroma, body, and blend.
