On tap. Poured out a semi-opaque, brown color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of roasted malt, caramel and floral notes. Sweet caramel & toffee with hints of chocolate malt.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a brown color with a tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel and nuts. Taste of roasted malt, caramel, nuts with bit of pine. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, quite smooth and creamy. Enjoyable.

Pours a clear dark brown color. 1/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of piney hops, sweet malt, roasted malt, and a hint of oatmeal. Fits the style of an American Brown Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is an strong dryness. Tastes of piney hops, sweet malt, roasted malt, and a hint of oatmeal. Overall, good appearance and feel, but average aroma and body.
