Light color, yellow. Don’t get a lot of character in the aroma— hint of fruit but otherwise rather plain aroma. The flavor, however, is why I got this beer a second time. Superb. Pineapple is mellow and natural, doesn’t seem forced at all but at a high level. The beer underneath is the perfect base for something like this. Sweet but not too sweet. Full body, no astringency. Not sour. Will be getting this again!!

Had on tap. Cloudy golden body with a finger of white foam. Huge pineapple in smell and taste. Nose has light grains and biscuit. Taste is sweet biscuit with light grass. But SO MUCH pineapple, wow. Feel is medium light bodied, bready and lightly juicy, and bright. Fun for the summer

Poured into an Euler stange. Pours a somewhat hazy, medium golden amber with a fine, one finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of grainy and bready malt, mild graham cracker and pineapple. Flavor is lightly grainy biscuit and bready malt and pineapple juice, light grassy hops in the finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. There does seem to be a kolsch body under there, but the pineapple juice is the dominant flavor. The pineapple is not overdone, appropriately muted for an adjunct to a beer, but the inherent flavor power of pineapple is greater than the subdued graininess of the kolsch. This is quite refreshing and has more grain character than many fruit ales, but for this style I hoped for some distinct husky grain that makes a kolsch appealing to me. I think I like grain flavors more than fruit in my beer. Interesting, but didn't do much for me.
