Hefeweizen

Pours a light to moderately hazy, medium golden amber with a fine, two finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of wheat malt, clove and light lemon. Flavor of wheat malt with some cream of wheat character, clove, banana and a hint of lemon. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess and sharp carbonation. A nice, authentic tasting hefeweizen with a particularly pleasant wheat malt flavor. Classic clove and banana notes. Somewhat less hazy than a European hefeweizen, the flavor is fine. Nicely done.
