Hunga Dunga Brewing

this is a great spot, and for being so small, they really are building quite the reputation and following around the state. their place is a big corrugated looking dome, but its expansive and vaulted and nicely finished on the inside, definitely a curious structure, but perfect for a brewery and taproom like this, very unique space, with the bar in the front, all the production in the back, and quite a lot more room than it looks like there is from the outside, they have a small patio area, a grill going, and a real laid back vibe, very zen and chill in here. they had a nice selection when i was in, the oatmeal pale was very good, and i liked the coffee stout a lot too, quality across the board seems to be better than others in the area, even around the northwest more generally, and the attention to detail on the beer side seems high to me, i was impressed with both, was pleased to see some innovation, and wished i didnt have to drive so i could have had a few more! the service was excellent, informative and welcoming, and there were good vibes all around. i didnt not pay any attention to the food, maybe next time. i really enjoyed my time here, think the beer is thoughtful and professional, and could have spent hours. this will be on my list as often as i am in town here, really exceptional spot, i think my favorite of the ones i hit in the area!
