Appearance - Pours a musty copper with two fingers of foamy off-white head.
Smell - earthy and leafy hops, bready malts, caramel, apple, tea aromas, and earthy yeast.
Taste - mild earthy and leafy hops upfront. The bready malts, caramel, apple, and tea aromas come through next and dominate the brew. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky and sweet from the malts.
Overall - For my first offering from this brewery, this brew is true to the style. Very malt forward and easy to drink.
