Dark with a moderate head, lots of lace as you go. Nose is dark bitter chocolate with a hint of lactose. Tastes of dark chocolate, ash, licorice. Metal. Bitter dry finish. Light bodied. Serious roastiness happening, malt understated. Rather severe in style, but drinkable.
