On-tap at Vässen Brewing Company, Richmond, VA
A: The beer is slightly hazy dark golden yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a narrow white collar and some lacing down the sides fo the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of oaky vanilla are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has lots of vanilla flavors from the foeder barrel aging and faint hints of sourness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has very nice aromas and flavors of vanilla. I was expecting this beer to be more sour, but liked what I got.
