L: Poured from a growler to a snifter glass. Had a copper / amber color and a clear consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: An unusual aroma of a smoky quality, Belgian yeast, spices, malt, citrus, and other fruits.
T: Tasted of a bit of citrus fruit (orange, I think), some Belgian-style yeast, a surprising amount of malt, a lot of the smokiness, light hops, and some cherries as well. Kind of an oddball flavor for the style (or any Belgian beer). The smokiness almost overpowers everything else. Not bad, but hard to pin down.
F: A solid amount of carbonation with a relatively smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Definitely an uneven beer, but one worth trying for its weirdness. Drinkable.
