We aged this dry-hopped Brettanomyces farmhouse ale for nearly 1 1⁄2 years in an American white oak foeder, followed by several months of bottle conditioning. Two strains of Brettanomyces contribute funky flavors of cherry pie and ripe pineapple, while Galaxy and Enigma hops from Australia provide subtle aromas of passion fruit, raspberry and white wine.

Dark golden in color with a thin bubbly white head. Earthy funky fruity and a little tart. Faint plastic in the flavor

L: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had an odd orange-amber color and a very cloudy consistency. Some sediment. There was a massive, foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Very good lacing.
S: A solid aroma of funky Belgian yeast, tropical fruit, stone fruit, a vinous quality, and hops.
T: Tasted of a bit of stone fruit (cherries), a tinge of hops (in the finish), a good shot of tropical fruit (passion fruit, pineapple), lots of funky brettanomyces, and a good amount of the vinous quality, This is kind of an oddball flavor, but it grows on you. At first, the combo of light fruits, brett, and wine is odd, but it calms down. Pretty tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: I doubt this beer will be for everyone, but it has an odd charm. Worth a look.
