L: Poured from a growler to a goblet. Had a muddy brown color and a cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy / fizzy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A big aroma of Belgian-style yeast, the advertised brandy, orchard fruit, berries, and maple syrup.
T: Tasted of a good amount of berries (strawberries, specifically), some orchard fruit (apples, in particular), a little brown sugar, some Belgian-style yeast, and a surprising amount of maple syrup (always welcome). A big, bracing, flavor that gets better as you go along. It's not a typical quad taste, but it still works quite well. Tasty stuff.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An interesting take on the quadrupel style. Drinkable.
