I should preface this review with the fact that generally I'm not a big fan of mint flavors in things like cookies and ice cream. Poured from a can into a snifter glass fairly hard, but effectively no head production. Effectively black color. Smell is primarily malt with a little hint of mint in the background. Primarily a good, smooth malty flavor, maybe a bit like pumpernickel bread, with the mint in the background and lingering as an after taste. Not strong enough to be an issue, but a bit odd. Medium bodied, and quite smooth due to the minimal carbonation. Glad I tried this, but not something I would seek out regularly. Definitely a must try if you like mint though.

Can dated 10/25:
It would be possible for me to go a bit higher on scores for hitting on the mint, but I feel the strength of it is actually a detraction from the overall beer. If you really like mint, you might feel otherwise.
The mint wasn't powerful but noted as I poured the brown liquid into a blacker-looking mass inside the glass. The head didn't force me to stop until I reached near the top of the glass, and the resulting ring of relatively light bubbles is stubborn, about both growing and shrinking.
The nose, once it becomes the focus of my senses, is dominated by the mint, and it comes across as a spearmint initially. In its better forms, it is like a more powerful version of the green jelly candies my grandmother used to keep around. At it's worse it seems like someone threw too much mint flavoring into a toothpaste. There's a little coffee-like malt, but I have to inhale all the mint collected over the beer's surface to get to it.
The taste is light on the malt - a mildly nutty, dark bread toast, then a hint of unsweetened cola. The mint comes on in flavor with a slightly numbing feel. The mint is somewhat artificial tasting, even though I'd guess it was not (I do not actually know what form this addition took). The mint really controls things, like I am drinking a light stout after - no, while brushing with some spearmint toothpaste.
The beer is not very thick at all, and cleans up fairly well save for some minty fresh aftertaste. The milk sugars and vanilla don't really seem to add a lot of sweeter notes here; the beer seems medium dry though I feel that, too, is influenced by the mint.
Ok, this one didn't really work for me - too much mint, and perhaps its strength alone made it seem out of place in a beer. I would've liked a little accent to a bold chocolately sweet milk stout, but things seemed flipped on their head here.

L: Poured from a growler to a pint glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored head that lasted an average amount of time. Not much lacing to speak of.
S: An enticing aroma of chocolate, malt, mint, vanilla, and coffee.
T: Tasted of some malt (present throughout, but subtle), a good amount of mint (kind of refreshing), a good shot of chocolate (an important component), a bit of coffee (not a huge factor), and a tinge of vanilla. This is a smooth and interesting flavor. The mint gives it a unique dynamic. Pretty tasty stuff.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An interesting and enjoyable stout. Drinkable.
