L: Poured from a crowler to a goblet. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and an extremely cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, off white, somewhat long-lasting head. Sparse lacing.
S: A very good aroma of Belgian yeast, vanilla, chocolate, malt, and some fruit.
T: Tasted of a good amount of the advertised vanilla (more than expected), a bit of Belgian-style yeast (a subtle presence), some apple notes, a bit of milk chocolate (always a good thing), and a good shot of malt (present throughout). This is a solid, well-balanced, and focused flavor. It's much more subtle than some dubbels, but still tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A solidly made, easy to drink beer. Worth a look.
