Good beer, unusual taste for a NEIPA...different than most. Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer features a hazy gold color and a big foamy white head with lots of lacing. Head retention is excellent!! Nice mix of hops here: Nelson Sauvin, Citra and Vic Secret. Not the usual grapefruit or citrus juice bomb I expect from a NEIPA. The aroma and flavor are somewhat subtle but very good. There is more grape, pineapple, lime and tropical fruit here than the usual NEIPA. Rather than dankness, there is a herbal aspect that is quite pleasant also. Mouthfeel is mildly bitter and a bit less crisp than most IPA's (could there be a bit of lactose here?) In all, somewha unusual, very drinkable and no hint ofthe8% .abv. Quite enjoyable!!

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a golden yellow color and very cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Fantastic lacing.
S: A very good aroma of hops, citrus fruit, tropical fruit, malt, and an herbal quality.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish; not a huge factor), a good shot of tropical fruit (pineapple, in particular), some citrus fruit (lemon and grapefruit), a light herbal quality, and a decent bit of hops (not overdone, but just enough). This is a solid, well-balanced, and focused flavor. Pretty tasty.
F: A decent amount of carbonation with soft and smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An extremely solid, well done beer. Drinkable.

CANNED ON 07/16/20 stamped on bottom of can. Poured into a nonic pint.
A: Beautiful hazy golden with 2-finger, frothy off-white head with excellent retention and copious rings of lacing.
S: Aroma is subdued and mainly generic berry and melon
T: Flavor has a distinct early, mid, and late palate with early palate being the pineapple, grapefruit, and lime citrus, the mid-palate focusing on the danker, herbal, savory hop components, and the late palate with more melon and minty flavors. Extraordinarily complex without being muddled despite the huge array of hop flavors. Esters are mainly stone fruit and some pineapple. Bitterness is low-medium at most.
M: Readily drinkable with medium body, low-medium carbonation, and a creamy feel overall.
O: A pretty interesting and impressive beer. I wish 1 or 2 hop flavors really stood out but this beer had one for the more complex hop profiles I have had in awhile.
