I had this beer on-tap in a tulip glass at the brewery in Snohomish.
Appearance: medium golden hue with just a little hint of haze and a thin finger of ivory foam atop.
Smell: somewhat sweet malt with an aroma that has a little funk to it, but not necessarily the good kind of funk. It’s fine, but not my favorite.
Taste: like the aroma, there’s an earthy funk or oxidation or something here that just doesn’t seem right. It’s not undrinkable, but I don’t love it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I’m not sure if something went wrong with this batch, or it’s intended to be a little weird. Either way, it’s not for me.
