We brewed this IPA with fresh orange zest, resulting in a delightfully bright citrus nose. The perfect dose of El Dorado and Azacca hops balances things out before a crisp, dry finish.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a fairly, large off-white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace. It smelled floral with orange and toasted bread. Sweet caramel taste with orange and a subtle piney bitterness. Crisp, sharp and smooth.

16oz can, no apparent freshness date. Thanks to Anthony for giving me a couple of cans! A thick sudsy head holds excellent retention atop an orange-caramel colored ale. Aroma is fruity orange, grapefruit, pine, caramel malt, and honey. Piney and zesty hops meet a solid malt backbone with notes of orange zest, earthy pine, mango, grapefruit, nutty toasted grain, caramel malt, and bread crust. Full body, very resinous yet still creamy in texture, moderate carbonation, pungent bitter finish that ends dry. This was decent - good utilization of orange rind in an IPA.

From a tall orange colored can, labeled with a serious playoff beard, this brew is a clear, deep gold color. Wonderful off-white and very lasting head. The aroma is fruity...citrus and melon, with a bit of peach. Wonderful. The taste is balanced and intense. Full in body...beautiful.

this is a double dry hopped brut ipa with oranges and tangerines, not sure how i feel about this new fad, brut ipa, i do think we need a little counterpoint to the hazy out there, but isnt this just a return to a more west coasty thing, minus some of the bitterness and plus a little more carbonation? like, its not finished with champagne yeast or anything is it? how new really is this in that case? anyway, this is a nice beer from these guys, one of their best i have had so far, with a really bright and fresh hop aroma, all citrus, and a heavy but natural fresh orange profile, zesty and juicy, sweet and even a little acidic, and also bitter from the peel, but there is great balance here, and this is real drinkable, clean for something that has been double dry hopped. the added fruit works great with the hops, and this has a lot of flavor all the way through for how dry it is in the end. i did expect this to really push the carbonation, but this one just feels average in the feel, not flat or anything, but definitely not taking it to the next level like i thought the style was supposed to imply. fresh fruit and juicy hops, a light honey note in the middle from the grain, and just enough bitterness later on. well made beer, just not as interesting as they make it sound...
