Small tasting room on main drag. Place reminded me of the lobby in a rustic bed and breakfast. Small L-shaped service bar with a few communal tables and Adirondack chairs. Only 5 beers on tap, the two I had were ok. Friendly service.

Long story short, I had been waiting for Eastern Front to open up a service area for more than a year. Situated in the business district of Mattituck, Long Island, NY, the venue was originally set to open before St. Patrick's Day of 2018, but, in fact, just opened on January 11, 2019. The space is large with an L shaped, 15 to 20', nautical/stressed wood bar on one side, a sales area for sundries on the other, and a nicely appointed, central area with two large tables and perhaps a dozen chairs. 5 beers were on tap within a range, interestingly tending toward pilsners and other lagers; an IPA and stout were available on the day I visited. Flights (consisting of all 5 beers), pints, and 32 and 64 oz growlers are available. The staff are very nice and solicitous. The drinks were good, but honestly all were a bit off style; I think the stout was the best of the five. That said, it was a such nice experience, I would like to see them succeed.
