This one was a Christmas gift in 2023, drunk in June 2024.
L: Light, golden yellow in the glass with a fluffy, bright-white head. Lots of carbonation races up the glass.
S: Zesty lemon and floral, almost herbal and perfumey hop notes dominate the aroma.
T: Like the nose, there's a zesty lemon and herbal note that sits atop a very clean, very crisp, feather-light malt body. The finish is clean but has a slightly salty note that complements the flavours that have gone before. It really does evoke a Mediterranean vibe. Very nicely done!
M: The mouthfeel is full, with restrained carbonation and medium levels of carbonic bite on the swallow.
O: This is a very enjoyable, zesty lager. It would be excellent on a hot day and could easily be enjoyed over multiple bottles. I would definitely drink this again.
Cheers!
