Copenhagen 21/11 2020. 33 cl transparent bottle from Lidl, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Transparent label with the name of the beer and the silhouette of a cactus. Certainly a very authentic Mexican beer.
Pours clear, pale yellow with a small but stable white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and malty odor. Sweet pale malts, wet cardboard, glue and bread. Light sourish notes.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and fizzy texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly. Finish is thin and watery.
They actually emulates a generic and thin Mexican Lager beer pretty well - but it does not make it less thin and generic.

De Lidl. En copa shaker de Birrificio Pontino. En almuerzo, con arroz con gambas. No mucho sabor pero cumple la función de ser refrescante y fácil de beber sin subirse a la cabeza no presentar nada desagradable

Cerveza con un pequeño cordón espumoso de retención media. Cuerpo ligero y alta carbonatación. Aromas herbáceos débiles. De sabor y final dulce.

330ml Bottle poured into pint shaker.
A: Pale, straw colour, no real head or lacing.
S: Malt with a hint of like.
T: Hints of malt, corn and lime cordial.
M: Medium body, not much carbonation.
O: A cut price Corona alternative which is probably better than the beer it tries to imitate.
