A: opaque; very dark brown in color; 1 finger creamy tan head that receded to a very thick, tight collar; nice lacing;
S: deeply roasted grain and black coffee;
T: follows the nose from start to finish; moderate bitterness at the end; finish has some bittersweet chocolate as well;
M: medium bodied; moderate, creamy carbonation; alcohol is only noticeable in the aftertaste;
O: nicely done;

Deep brown color but the light passes through the center easily. Beige but small head. Minimal lacing.
More chocolate than mocha. Light chalkiness. I also pick up some iron.
Strong coffee presence with some weak milk. The body is thinner like the Irish versions. Higher carbonation than most stouts. Bitter finish almost like coffee grounds.
