A: crystal clear; brownish mahogany in color; 1 finger finely pored light tan head that receded to a thin cap; thick rings of lace;
S: toasted grain with bittersweet chocolate;
T: toasted grain; a moderate, somewhat sharp bitterness at the end;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: other than the somewhat harsh bitterness, no hop character - odd for what the brewery calls a "hopped up American Brown Ale";
