this is a neat one, not just another boring blonde ale, but a drinkable beer with quite a lot of flavor to it, nice to see some innovation in a beer like this, and i would make this a regular in my firdge this summer if it were available here in idaho. the color is clear golden with a nice white head from the tap. there is a lot of malt character to this for being so pale, it has an earthy low end, a grainy taste without being sweet or toasted to me, and a wheaty feel that gives it an improbable amount of body for its pale color. beer drinkers beer. the hops here are mild, but not as mild as is common in beer like this, we get a little pop of clean citrus at the end, and just a dab of bitterness that helps this finish crisp, almost with a lager taste to me with the pale grain doing a lager yeast impression and the hops appearing almost noble in this context. all that is to say that the beer is very refreshing and summery to me, more flavorful than most of these, and a nice first impression of roha for me, who i have not been able to check out any beers from until now. ill make a point to stop in next time i am down in salt lake, this was very good and definitely original in a style that generally lacks innovation and excitement.

Haven't EVER had a 4% beer with this much malty body, slight hop finish. So smooth, one of my new faves.

Poured from 12oz can into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and a very thin layer of ivory foam. It's OK, though I would have liked more head.
Smell: wheaty with a fair dose of sweetness; I mean, it's decent, but there's not a lot of complexity here.
Taste: like the aroma, it's wheaty, and sweet, but without the banana of a German-style wheat beer or the bizarre fruit complexity of an American wheat beer. It's clean, and competent, but not outstanding.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess. Not bad.
Overall: now here is where I differ from the rest of the opinions I have given. Is this complex? No. Is it innovative? No. Is it a tasty, drinkable beer, of which I'd quaff plenty in the right context? Yes, absolutely! So, I shall say, given the right situation, this could indeed be the right beer for you.
