Smarties and soap. I was hoping for a Citra IPA but this tasted more like a soapy, candy, creamcicle. I suggest the brewer goes heavier on the hops and lighter on the "extras" (anything other than water, barley, hops, and yeast).

surprised at the poor review here, this is really modern and maybe polarizing, but its well made for what it is, i have no doubt about that. it is sweet, and i suspect some lactose or something in here, maybe even vanilla, but i can find no evidence of that at all to prove it. big juicy fruit character to the hops in nose and taste, almost candied and so forward i think of cryo hops and actual fruit. orange, peach, and pineapple jump right out, a rainbow sherbet vibe too, some lime maybe, and a simple but fuller feeling malt base, nothing real dynamic there. the hops are possibly new zealand varietals, as i get a lot of white wine, fresh flowers, and tropical tones, peach and honey as it warms, more vanilla and an almost creamy feel make me think milk sugar too. bitterness is nonexistent, and this lingers on the tongue awhile after each sip, definitely a new school type of ipa here. the hop profile is excellent, and whatever else is in this beer, it has to be something, is well selected and proportioned, and serves to highlight the hops well. ill be darned if its all hops, especially with this much residual sugar, but everyone who shared in this can really dug it. i need to get to the brewery next time i am down that way!

12 oz can from the government store. Pours clear dark gold with a small white head. Aroma is peach, citrus. Taste is peach and a weird medicinal flavor. Bailing out after half a can.
