Never heard of this brewery; I always try to scope out breweries when down in Salt Lake. Served in a pint around 40 degrees. The pour created a light tan frothy and airy two-fingered head. The dissipation is steady, leaving lacing on the glass. The color charts around SRM 32, a dark brown. The appearance is average for a porter.
The initial aromas in the beer are molasses, medium chocolate, and coffee. Nosing the beer several more times, I detect roasty malts, a subtle earthiness, and a slight herbal note.
The initial sips of beer are roasty malts, a hint of smoke, chocolate, medium roasted coffee, and earthiness. After a few more drinks, I taste grass, herbal, and a hint of bread.
The mouthfeel is slightly dry. The body is light, has medium carbonation, and has a pleasant finish.
I could drink several more cans of this porter. Five percent does not deter in flavor. Fantastic porter, I shamelessly kept consuming the beer.

LOOK - dark dark brown - basically black - low head / lower retention - nice foam ring and some lacing though
SMELL - charred wood / dark roasted grains - some tobacco and scorched molasses - nice nutty and woodsy aroma
TASTE - nice bitterness upfront - some hops in there and also some bitterness from the heavily roasted grains - nice chocolate and dark toasted bread - rich caramel malt and caramel corn - a touch sweet at first but blasts into super dry just after - great flavor
FEEL - decent full bodied brew but really low on that end of it - could use more carbonation and more mouthfeel
OVERALL - great Porter here - enjoyable/flavorful - will continue to buy this one - may have to go to RoHa and try it on tap.

So good. Toasty, roasty, slight smoke. Nutty, and some chocolate notes in the nose (and in the taste). Medium/full bodied, but crisp enough to want a few. Sticky lace on the glass. So good when it's fresh.
