Poured pitch black with a two finger creamy off-white head. Moderate lacing. Nose of roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Taste follows the nose with mild hops. . Brewer noted that this is a Cappuccino Stout made with local Commonplace Coffee, which is very very good. Mouthfeel is creamy and full due to the lactose and oatmeal added.

Definite coffee from the get go. Rich coffee aroma, deep coffee flavor, smooth on the palette, warm going down. Very much enjoyed this from the tap at Beerhead Bar next to PNC Park.
