Had a 4 oz pour at the brewery while waiting for a fill of Recliner, which I'll review later. It's a bright golden with lacy head, attractive, but not what I think of when I think of a Belgian tripel. It has a a mild candy sugar and ester nose, but is dryer and more bitter than one might expect. Overall, there is a nice balance and drinkability, although you'd need to watch the amount you drink - 4 oz didn't leave me wishing for more. I think it could be more interesting with a little more spiciness and rounder mouthfeel.

16 oz can
Pours mostly clear golden, white head retains as a film.
Smells of citrus, esters, candi sugar and bubblegum.
Flavor is of banana, citrus, grassy malt, biscuit, cereal, candi sugar, bubble gum and coriander.
Medium body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
Pretty decent Belgian style, has some of the key flavors many other American attempts tend to miss. Body is missing some of that fluffiness you'd want from a big Belgian ale. The flavor is pretty good, not a perfect representation of the style. But it drinks pretty smooth and is enjoyable. Worth a grab, might have it again once in a while.
