Poured into a stemmed glass.
A: Body is yellow to orange showing mild opaqueness, suggesting little to no use of oat flakes. The head is white and shows medium retention.
S: The aroma is incredible as the junction of Amarillo, Mosaic, Citra, Cascade and Azzaca provide a wonderful fruit bouquet to the nose. You can find vanilla, tangerine, orange, grapefruit, mango, passionfruit, apple and pear. It's amazing.
T: Taste starts off with an amazing sweetness depth incoming from all fruit notes. It's hardly one of the best tasting openings a NEIPA can have. It then moves on to a crisp and balanced bitter finish with a hop forward note.
M: Body is medium high. Carbonation is spot on. Alcohol is unnoticed. Bitterness is properly high.
O: By far the best Barona beer I've had and the best portuguese NEIPA there is to my knowledge. The use of various hops creates a wonderful aromatic profile to the beer that's just perfect.
