This place is huge, and there is even a private room/special events space. It would be great if they had a kitchen, since there are minimal food options in the area. Parking is plentiful in lots across the street, but you'll pay a little bit, unless you can snag a spot on the street. It's not the best neighborhood either, so be aware. But the brewery itself is solid, with about a dozen taps and a good variety of styles. Servers were friendly and it's a good spot overall. I'm glad to try some more of their offerings in the future.

Woods Boss is relatively new, but an extraordinary find. Located several blocks north of downtown - and easily accessible by the city's light rail (Route L to 20th/Weldon), it is worth seeking out. Upon entry, you think you have walked into a hunting lodge; there are plenty communal tables, a large bar and a sizeable patio. It is a busy place, a popular place; I can see why: the wide variety of styles on tap - I counted about 20. Several IPAs, an Irish dry stout and a delicious porter, and a few others that caused me to linger here a little longer than I should have. It was worth the time spent.

A newer spot, in a part of town that you can see is just starting to get the life pumped back in to it. Nice, big taproom. Wood everywhere. Lots of things on tap that looked outstanding. Very chill place to enjoy a beer in one of the finest beer cities in the world.

i had literally never heard of this place, in planning or anything, until i drove past this week. what an awesome spot! tons of space in here, with cabin-like wood features that make this feel really woodsy, hence the name. split log tables, a long natural edged wooden bar, and tons of room. some comfy couches to post up on, lots of natural light, and the brewhouse in the back, plenty of room to expand should things go well! they had an impressive range of beers on, including tons of hoppy stuff, a dark saison, an oatmeal brown, and others, something for everyone for sure. i loved some of the beers, including that brown and a juniper pale wheat ale, but the hoppy stuff was all over the place, the saison was a bit of a mess, and a lot of the beers werent very much to style, so while its cool they have so many flowing already, i do think some refinement is needed. still, sweet that they are tasting this good already on batch one. vibe was just rad, i could have hung here all day. the service was spotty, she was a bit flighty, kind of sassy, and not totally familiar with the pos or crowler technology yet, it took a look time to get her attention for each round, and she seemed flustered. nice enough, but for how not busy it was, she has to pick it up a little and be more aware. im sure she will improve too, its only been a few days! it seems crazy to think the downtown denver scene can support another brewery, yet here we are, and i really cant see it not working out for these guys. ill be back for sure, the feel in here is really mountainy, ski lodgey, homey. i dug it!
