Love the dark chocolate notes on this one with a hint of smokiness. Does have a burn taste to it, but overall I would love to go and grab some more. Smells more like coffee than anything else.

One of the worst porters ive ever had. Flat pour, burnt taste, magically over hopped. Really outdid themselves.

12 oz can into pint glass. Dated 4/12/19.
Look is dark brown-black with nice brown crown. Smell is roasted malt and coffee. Taste follows with a cocoa note. Feel is fairly light. Overall a nice and drinkable porter.

Dark brown color. Light passes through the edge of the glass. Light beige head with minimal lace.
Darkened malt aroma with, dare I say this, bacon. Mild but attractive.
Good cocoa flavor up front. The body is thin like a Brown Ale but the carbonation is lighter as well. Short aftertaste which is reminiscent of chocolate milk. Rather nondescript to my palate.

An eminently drinkable porter without the dark roast flavor and weight that says "you should only drink me in January, with chunks of roast beef." Beautiful head, coffee and dark chocolate notes, very limited bite.

Turtle Swamp's best beer so far. I've enjoyed it more recently than the first batch.

Lightly roasted malts, dark chocolate and lactose. Lighter bodied. Nice bit of bitterness on the finish. Prickly carbonation. Pretty good, easy drinking porter.
