Pours dark amber/l light brown. Modest head which leaves some spots on the plastic cup. Hazy.
More yeasty than anything else but still mild overall. Darker toast aroma from the malts.
Very much like a well made homebrew. Lots of yeast and spice. I wonder if they added pumpkin? Definitely leans to the malt but unlike most Märzens, this one has a definitive bittering hop finish. It's not much, but enough to remind one of classic American Amber Ale. Rich bodied but with ample carbonation.
