On tap at Turtle Swamp Brewing in Boston, MA.

This one pours a dirty orange-ish color, maybe almost brown-ish – it doesn’t look great.

This smells quite malty and astringent, with an almost cardboard-like flavor. Can it be oxidized even on draft?

This is just straight up not good. It’s unpleasantly malty, and weirdly boozy for being under 8% ABV. It’s got some berry sweetness, caramel and bready maltiness, old tea, honey, and that same weird sort of stale oxidized flavor that just feels coming from a beer on draft.

This is light bodied, and not drinkable really at all. It was a chore to finish this one.

Turtle Swamp was not a very impressive brewery, and this was the least impressive beer from them.
