With the emboldened use of El Dorado and Azacca hops, the abundance of hop aroma, flavor and crisp bitterness from Gravely Brewing Company's flagship IPA seem to wash over the senses wave after wave.
Electric Wavy makes first introductions with a medium amber color and with a largely bright appearance. A light cream swath of seafoam that easily endures the session. A complex collection of fruit aromas comprise the nose, seeming tropical, citrus, stone fruit and orchard fruit in variety. Sweetness splashes the tongue with a honey and granola maltiness that's redolent of graham cracker.
Relaxing sweetness makes way for the hops to gain the same command of taste as it does in the nose, first trending troical with mango and apricot before turning to orange, pink grapefruit and light lemon. Apple, papaya and pear wrap up the nuanced hop flavors before a decidedly bitter finish of pine, pepper and tea.
Medium bodied but trending lighter and drier as the flavors conclude, the beer's tea-like finish brings a cooling mint character that refreshes the palate and has a pairing of tropical fruits beckoning. A medium long aftertaste of pine and tropical fruit peels extend into a pleasantly bitter afterglow.

Pretty sure this was just a bad hop combo.
