Taster at brewery. Orange golden pour, small white head. Strong blood orange aroma, citrus. Taste proudly features the tangy zesty blood orange, sweet, zippy, juicy.

In an effort to channel their inner fruit fiend, Gravely brewers stumble upon oodles of blood oranges in conjunction with the brewing of a red IPA. Weaving the fruit into their brewing schedule went like clockwork. Clockwork orange, that is.
Pouring a rather honey amber hue and portraying the color of orange and rouge, Channel Orange pops immediately with racy bubble and a fluffy cotton froth. Radiant aromas of orange flow onto the nose, along with a twinge of berry, other citronella fragrances. A malty introduction of part toasted nuttiness and part juicy nectar greet the early palate with a softer tone.
As the ale rolls along the tongue, the middle palate is livened with the strong citrusy taste of blood orange in all its juicy, pulpy, pithy and peely glory. Remaining floral with orange blossoms and the taste starts to reflect upon the character of furniture polish, epecially as the hops turn spicy, resinous and bitter; pulling the pectin bite from the orange peels and piths.
Medium bodied but trending dry and spicy, the blood orange IPA finishes bitter with curacao orange and the vibrancy of citrus oils with a medium long aftertaste of curacao liquor and a strong pectin bite.
