On tap at the brewery.
Clear red brown with a small creamy head.
Sweet meaty smoke. A little caramel.
Very similar in flavor with some more wood. It’s not real sweet, quite balanced.
Medium-light body and carbonation. Doesn’t sit heavy on the tongue.
Nice little smoked lager. I actually think I should have filed this under Rauchbier. I forgot not all smoked beer had been rolled up under Smoked Beer. This is an American Rauchbier, or if you want to quibble, a smoked amber or Märzen lager.
