On-tap at Würst Bier Hall, Fargo, ND
A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a short light tan head that left a thin collar around the edge of the glass and and lots of lacing down the sides.
S: Moderate aromas of dark malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of dark malts along with hints of roasted malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. There is only a hint of smoothness.
O: This beer has very nice aromas and flavors of dark malts, although it isn't as smooth compared to other beers in the style.
