L: Had this beer on-tap at Effingham's in Farmville, Va., poured into a pint glass. Had a golden brown color and a mostly clear consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Below average lacing.
S: A sweet and light aroma of citrus fruit, ginger, and malt.
T: Tasted of a distinct malty backbone (present throughout), a good shot of ginger (definitely a big part of the taste), lots of citrus fruit (lime, a little lemon), and some other light fruit. This is a sweet and effervescent flavor. It's not exactly what you'd call complex, but that doesn't matter. It's direct, sour, and lively.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a vibrant finish. Light-bodied.
O: This is one of those oddly enjoyable beers. Worth a try.
