A: Bought at an expat grocery store in Shanghai China. Poured from the 330mL bottle into a pint glass. The beer is a very dark orange, bordering on brown. It is hazy and has a foamy off white head.
S: Balanced, with a hint of malty sweetness inside but still plenty of resiny hops.
T: Again, the first word that comes to mind is balanced. Not a slam-you-in-the-teeth IPA like many out there, but a very drinkable one. A strong hop character that is both piney and citrusy is balanced by a slight bready maltiness and almost a maple syrup sweetness.
F: Smooth
Overall: A really good offering from an up-and-coming brewer here in Shanghai.
