Pours a dark, golden brown with a delicious, one finger foamy head. Aroma is chocolate, grain and molasses. Taste is spot on medium with a creamy mouthfeel. A bit of milk chocolate and char hits the taste buds equally. This is a delicious brew that is really difficult to put down. More please.

Tasted in a tall tulip from draft at 1840 Brewing Company on September 29, 2018. A preview of a stout bound for barrels. The recipe was designed to be fruity and chocolate forward so after it was done again in bourbon/maple syrup barrels it was reminiscent of pancakes with fruit.
